How can i fix my credit score and make it better?

Details : Hi i want to ask that i am 20 year old and just graduated and have a fair secure job. I dont own any credit card and atleast dont have any credit card debt. But i have poor credit. Also i have some medical debts which are old. I have just paid off my car loans and still paying my student loans. Due to old medical bills my score is around 500. what should i do to fix my credit score?
